Tulsa’s Route 66 Capital Cruise Classic Car Centennial Parade is set for May 30th along Tulsa’s stretch of Route 66. With a goal of more than 3,000 entrants, the Capital Cruise aims to set an official Guinness world record and KTSO is the official radio station of the cruise! In addition to the parade, there are two days of events at Expo Square you can take in with your family and friends and KTSO will be there for everything!

Tulsa’s Route 66 Capital Cruise — KTSO will broadcast live from the starting line starting at 7am! The parade travels from 11th & Yale to 11th & Denver. Cars roll out at 8 AM with 16 Party Zones to enjoy the parade from!

UPDATE 5/1:  As of Wednesday, April 29 there are 3,045 cars from 41 different states and Canada registered to be a part of the May 30 record attempt. The current largest classic car parade in history took place in Puerto Rico in 2017 and included 2,491 cars.

UPDATE 5/13: Tulsa’s Route 66 Capital Cruise is turning into a full-on celebration, with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa joining as the official Finish Line Festival sponsor. The World-Record Classic Car Centennial Parade will feature 16 Cruise Party Zones along the route, packed with entertainment, sponsor activations, and block-party energy for fans and families. Update 5/18: Tulsa’s Route 66 Capital Cruise is about to make history! More than 4,009 cars and drivers from 43 states, Canada, and France are rolling into Tulsa on May 30th for an unforgettable celebration of Route 66. Oklahoma Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell says this proves Tulsa will be the nation’s signature Route 66 Centennial Celebration — and the city is ready to roll out the red carpet.
